Veronika Valdés (1992, Ljubljana) has been dancing for over 15 years. Now working as a freelancer, Veronika finished secondary level contemporary dance programmes at the Ljubljana Music and Ballet Conservatory (under the mentorship of her mother Jana Kovač Valdés) and at the Pre-school Education, Grammar and Art Grammar School in Ljubljana. In 2011, she enrolled at the Academy of Dance, Ljubljana.

A promising young choreographer and dancer and multiple award winner, Veronika has thus fur been involved in several dance projects. Her first creation was a collaboration with young choreographers Enya Belak, Maša Hawlina and Jerca Rožnik Novak titled The Daddy Project, which was produced by the Dance Theatre Ljubljana in 2012. In the same year she also created her first solo piece The Day After. Her latest dance Dark Dinner was presented in 2019.

As a dancer and performer, she has worked with numerous Slovenian and international directors and choreographers. In 2015 she was a member of the EnKnapGroup. She is continually expanding her dance knowledge by attending different workshops and classes. She teaches contemporary dance classes and is active as a mentor at the Intakt Dance Studio and Ljubljana Music and Ballet Conservatory. She is also active as a music maker; her works have been featured on the dance film The Red Fountain and in the productions of the contemporary dance programme at the Ljubljana Music and Ballet Conservatory.
