Jerca Rožnik Novak (1992, Ljubljana) finished the contemporary dance programme at the Pre-School Education, Grammar and Arts Grammar School Ljubljana. She went on to study at the Anton Bruckner Privatuniversität in Linz, Austria, where she graduated with a BA and an MA from dance pedagogy in 2016 and 2019 respectively. In 2018 she also graduated from the Faculty of Social Work in Ljubljana.

Her works include the collaborative dance project The Daddy Project, which received the 2013 Ksenija Hribar Award in the category promising dancers, and the debut performance Hweōl …in the Whirlwind of Time which she co-created with Leon Marič in 2016 and was produced by Dance Theatre Ljubljana. In 2020 she conceived
2gether/Al(l)one with Johannes Randolf.

As a dancer she has worked with Willi Dorner, Rose Breuss, Gisela Elisa Heredia, Anna Gulyás, Maria Koliopoulou, Matjaž Farič, Johannes Wieland, Enya Belak Gupta, Vita Osojnik, Damian Cortes Alberti … She performed at the Tyrolean Festival Erl in the opera production L’Italiana in Algeri and was a member of the Vienna-based PUC-Pop Up Collective. She has been collaborating with Editta Braun Company and SILK Fluegge Dance Company since 2014.
