Gea Erjavec (1986, Celje) started dancing at an early age in Dance Forum Celje, where she performed in numerous dance-theatre projects created by her mother Gordana Stefanović Erjavec. She later attended Pre-school Education, Grammar and Arts Grammar School Ljubljana, module contemporary dance, where she trained under acclaimed Slovenian dance artists. During this period she was also involved in dance and theatre productions of Teater Pozitiv, run by Ivan Cankar Student Residence Halls.

Gordana went on to study fashion design at the Faculty of Design and became increasingly interested in costume design. In 2014 she graduated at the Academy of Dance in Ljubljana and started working freelance as dancer and choreographer in 2016. Soon after she entered the postgraduate programme Art of Movement at the Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television.

Expressing herself as dancer, actor, performer and model, Gordana has been an active member of: Ambiental Performances since 2008; the multimedia interactive company Teater Ponorelli, which she co-founded with costume designer Damir Rakovič in 2013; and KCŠ Company (Creative Zone Šiška) from 2013 to 2017. Besides creating her own pieces and choreographing dance performances and miniatures for other companies, Gea is also active as scriptwriter, moderator and organiser of different kinds of events. She has also appeared in several movies, videos and commercials. Her signature stamp is fire; she regularly performs as a fire artist, intertwining dance and fire art.
